Selin Selcuk

Architectural Designer

Six years of experience across the UK and Turkey, spanning high-end residential, mixed-use, education, office and Grade II* listed refurbishments – Selin brought a lot with her when she joined greig + stephenson in 2024. That breadth shows in how she works.

At g+s she has been involved in Stockyard, Huddersfield and Whitechapel markets, and what draws her to this kind of work is the challenge of it. How existing structures set the rules, and how good design finds opportunity within those constraints. She has a particular interest in the technical side of architecture; how materials and systems come together in detail, on paper and on site. Selin studied at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul, one of Turkey’s most respected architecture schools, and is a registered architect with the TMMOB Chamber of Architects.

Outside the studio, she’s into electronic music, scuba diving, and travelling specifically to eat. She also collects fountain pens and inks, which tells you something about someone who cares about the details.
