Fola Pinheiro

Fresh from completing his master’s in architecture, Fola joined greig + stephenson in March 2024. He specialises in 3D modelling and visualisation, translating g+s’ designs into something you can really see and feel. At the heart of his approach is empathic design, taking the time to genuinely understand the people he’s designing for, as he did working closely with traders on the Norwich Market project.

Fola studied at UWE Bristol, where he explored the vernacular architecture of the Global South, particularly Nigeria, and how design can address real social and economic challenges. Outside the studio, he’s an avid cook specialising in Nigerian fusion, and is currently pursuing independent research into the self-organised markets of Lagos. Given where his career is heading, it feels like exactly the right rabbit hole.
