St Stephen’s is a £200m, two-storey development in the middle of Hull. As well as new retail and leisure units it also includes 220 residential apartments and new homes for the Truck and Albemarle theatres. The infrastructure of Hull has been completely refocused around the shopping centre, with the new Paragon transport interchange transforming the way people use the town.

Greig & Stephenson advised on the design of the shop fronts and interiors, as well as designing the signage for the centre and reviewing the connections to services and utilities. The team also created a tenant handbook with advice and guidance for new and prospective tenants and acted as the main link between retailers and developers.

GSA worked with tenants helped them move in and start trading quickly and encouraged successful ongoing relationships between tenants and landlords. For the shopper, St Stephen’s is an attractive, user-friendly interior space.
