Client/ Vinopolis / Wineworld
The brief / To create a micor-brewery with a 200-cover bar and restaurant tucked neatly into Stoney Street, Borough Market.
The context / Working within three disused railway arches near to London Bridge a principal aim was ti give new uses to these old structures and a new focal point for the area.
What we did/ In 2006, Greig + Stephenson transformed the existing railway arch infrastructure that houses Vinopolis's Wine Museum and Hospitality Centre to create a new pub, micro-brewery and restaurant. This work also enabled the client to upgrade and expand the food offer of 'Wine Wharf' as well as establish a new front floor and external seating courtyard for its customers.
Impact / Further adding to the bustling Borough Market leisure and food offer.
