Client/ Vinopolis and Bombay Sapphire

The brief / To create an elegant cocktail bar in the heart of Bankside that complements the adjacent Vinopolis offer.

The context / London Bridge SE1

What we did/ In 2004 Greig + Stephenson won a competition to design a sophisticated cocktail bar in the heart of Bankside.  The client, Bombay Sapphire and Vinopolis wished to create a showcase for their products and a sleek bar for the many people passing by on this busy route along the South Bank of the River Thames.  As original concept designers G+S oversaw the implementation of the project, including the illuminated back-bar made by Fusion Glass inspired by the Bombay Sapphire botanicals bottle.

Impact / Created a live space out of a dead corner in Bankside furthering G+S's stamp on the Borough Market area and its environs.
