Greig and Stephenson Architects has recently won a swathe of new European retail work, including a major new shopping centre in Wickrange, Luxembourg. They have also been recently nominated for an International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC) award and received a commendation for an outstanding scheme in Oostende, Belgium. The two projects are linked with the same client ING and the latter exemplifies one of the practice's most successful retail projects to date.

Wickrange shopping centre is a 40,000 square metre centre to be located on the main highway 15 km south west of the city of Luxembourg. Wickrange will compete directly with Luxembourg city centre and will have a catchment area extending into Belgium, France and Germany. The project is due for completion by December 2010.
