LFA2008 - June 2008
Greig and Stephenson Architects were once again actively involved with the London Festival of Architecture – LFA2008. As part of the ‘Southwark and South Bank Hub’ Ken Greig and Nigel Stephenson kicked off with a ‘Bright and Early Bike Ride’. This early morning leisurely cycle ride visited some fascinating locations, including many of London's oldest and most famous markets and unique market and related buildings from Smithfield to Borough Market in Southwark.
They also organised a ‘Three Venue tour at Borough Market’ again led by Ken Greig and Nigel Stephenson. This tour was an opportunity to see the role architecture is playing in creating connections between the market and its surroundings, transforming Borough into one of the most visited destinations in London.
