Naked Fish, Hull - May 2009

Greig & Stephenson completed the detailed designs for 'Naked Fish', a new fish restaurant in the 52,000 square metre St Stephen's shopping centre in Kingston-Upon-Hull.

Run by James Goacher, the son of a fish merchant with four generations of his family working at sea, the highly successful original Naked Fish restaurant is in Bridlington.  This Hull venture, designed to honour the city's fishing heritage, marks the beginning of expansion plans for the brand.  A low-key and highly adaptable interior was central to the design brief, allowing the great product - fresh fish - to be the main attraction.
