What we do

Our business is architecture and design, and we approach it with enthusiasm, imagination and professionalism.  Addressing the demands of the client, the user and the physical context, Greig & Stephenson approaches each task with an eye towards organization.  The visual elements grow naturally out of this process, with creativity and imagination being constantly challenged, enhanced and tested by a sense of reality.

As architects we design new buildings; but our persepctive always extends to the wider urban framework.  We take a strategic approach to design and much of our work concerns initiating change in the way people use public and commercial space so that retail and recreational opportunities can be optimised.  In projects such as Leeds Market, London's Borough Market, and Preston Market we have demonstrated how the right strategy can bring new life and profitability to old and neglected markets; and reinvigorate the communities and environment around them.
